returns advice for misdescribed

I purchased a horse privately 3 weeks ago, the information I had was that he was very good in traffic well schooled etc, since I have owned him this has not been the case, he is not good in traffic or a safe ride. I would like to know my rights as I have contacted the previous owner regarding return and money back as horse not as described, she has replied but only to say he was not like that with her, she hasn't answered since regarding return and refund.
